This post is some personal news, not directly Collaborative Improv related.
Let’s not bury the lead. I have left EPAM after over 6 years of work and have joined Collabralink as Lead UX Designer. While I am very excited about this opportunity, it was not an easy decision to change jobs during a pandemic.
There is a lot of uncertainty in the world. From a health perspective. When considering civil rights. There is a lot happening beyond myself. So how can I change jobs during this time?
First, let me say my time with EPAM has been a privilege. Over the last 6+ years I have worked with some of the best and brightest in software consulting. I’ve collaborated on financial service products, life science products, business systems, and more. I have sold research and service offerings into relationships where that work was previously diminished.
But now, I have the opportunity to help build a research practice. Working primarily with government contracts, I have the opportunity to influence software and systems that impact individuals, not just corporations.
I won’t take much of your time with this post. I am excited and nervous for what the future has in store.
